Soho House London: Everything you Need to Know
Thinking of visiting Soho House London and wondering how it all works? I’ve had a membership for over 2 years, so I’ve got first hand knowledge of everything you need to know.
Soho House is a members club for creatives, with locations across the world, from Mumbai to Chicago. But it started life above a restaurant in Soho, and London remains the city with the most Soho House locations.
It’s one of my favourite places to visit for a night out, with a jam-packed calendar of events and brilliant pop up restaurants. I’ve had a membership for over 2 years, and know everything about visiting Soho House, the membership, and the benefits.
In this article I’ll cover everything there is to know about Soho House London, including the locations in the city, what you’ll find at each one, how you get in and some information about the membership.
Soho House London locations
There’s 10 Soho House locations all across London:
- Little House Mayfair
- Dean Street
- 180 House
- Electric House
- Greek Street
- White City House
- Shoreditch House
- High Road House
- Little House Balham
- Kettner’s
Little House Mayfair
Little House Mayfair is a smaller location, with a drawing room for working and relaxing, a restaurant, art collection and four apartments above the house, available for short and long-term rental.
Dean Street
Located in an 18th-century townhouse, Dean Street is spread over 4 floors and features 2 dining areas, a courtyard and roof terrace.
In the basement, there’s even a 43-seat screening room with its own bar.
180 House
180 House is just a short walk from Temple station, and has 2 restaurants, a terrace, and a rooftop pool with incredible views over London.
On the ground floor there’s 180 Studio – a space for members to meet, eat and drink.
Electric House
Electric House is on Portobello Road, one of the most iconic streets in the city, in the stunning neighbourhood of Notting Hill. There’s an all-day menu and a beautiful roof garden with original domed ceiling.
Electric House is located next to Electric Cinema, which first opened in 1910 and is one of the oldest working theatres in Britain.
Greek Street
Greek Street is my favourite Soho House in London. It’s the original Soho House location, set within a Grade II-listed townhouse. It has a real homely feel to it, with lots of cosy corners to discover.
There’s 3 dining spaces, and a beautiful rooftop. As well as the all-day club menu, you’ll often find pop-up restaurants here, so it’s a great place to discover new places to eat.
It’s also a brilliant night out, they regularly have DJs playing here, and it stays open until 3am on the weekends, which is much later than the surrounding bars.
White City House
Found in the former BBC headquarters, White City House has a gym, rooftop pool, bar and indoor pool. There’s four restaurants, including Japanese Pen Yen, Club Cecconi’s, the Club Menu and the rooftop menu.
Shoreditch House
Shoreditch House has one of the most recognisable pools in London, with red and white striped loungers and amazing city views.
There’s also a gym, a spa, two restaurants and a screening room.
High Road House
Located in leafy Chiswick, High Road House has a restaurant, bar and 14 bedrooms.
Little House Balham
Little House Balham is a more recent opening, and it’s the first club in South London. There’s a snug, bar and restaurant.

Membership types for Soho House London
House Membership
This is the original Soho House membership. When applying, you’ll need to choose between Every House membership – giving you access to all Soho Houses around the world, or Local House – where you’ll only have access to one Soho House, usually where you live.
Every House cost: Around £200 p/m
Local House cost: Around £90 p/m
Cities Without Houses
If you live somewhere without a Soho House, you can still get a membership to join a creative community and get access to the houses when you travel.
Soho Friends
In 2020, Soho House launched their Soho Friends membership. It’s only £100 a year and allows you to stay at any of the houses, but you won’t be able to visit if you aren’t spending the night.
Cost: £100 per year
U27s Membership
If your membership is accepted before your 27th birthday, you’ll pay a reduced rate, as well as getting additional discounts:
- 50% off food & drink Sunday-Wednesday
- 50% off bedrooms on a Monday night
- 50% off Cowshed treatments on Monday
Even though it’s an under 27s membership, you’ll carry on getting the half-price membership fee until you’re 30, and the rest of the discounts until you’re 31.
For that reason, if you’re under 27 and thinking about getting a membership, my biggest piece of advice would be to do it now. I debated for ages whether I should get the full-price membership and went for Soho Friends instead.
But after a while I decided that I was at the point in my life where I felt comfortable spending my money on a full membership, and by that point I was 28 and I’ve now ended up costing myself a lot more money! To be fair, 26 year old me couldn’t really afford a full membership, discounted or not, so it was the right decision, but in the long-term probably not the smartest.
Every House cost: Around £95 p/m
Local House cost: Around £45 p/m
Soho Works
If you have a Soho House or Soho Friends membership, you can join Soho Works, which is essentially a co-working space separate to the houses.
There’s certain rules on when you can use your laptop and have phone calls in Soho Houses, so they aren’t really designed for work. There’s Soho Works locations in London, New York and LA.
