From cool warehouses in Los Angeles, to sprawling farms in Oxfordshire, Soho House has established itself around the world. I’ll cover all the Soho House locations in this handy guide
Soho House is a global brand that’s made its mark on the hospitality industry. What started as a small venue in London has grown to over 35 houses across Europe, the UK, North America, and the Middle East.
I’ve been a Soho House member for over 3 years now and have experienced three different memberships – Soho Friends, Soho Works and the full Soho House membership.
In that time I’ve visited many of their different locations, so in this handy guide I’ll go through where you can find the houses around the world.
My membership at Soho House
I’ve written this guide based off of my own experience with 3 different types of memberships – a Soho Friends membership, a Soho Works membership, and the one I have now, the full Soho House membership.
I’ve been a member for over 3 years now, and have visited and stayed in many Houses along the way.

Choosing your membership – does the location matter?
When you apply for a Soho House membership, you’ll need to choose between Every House membership – giving you access to all Soho Houses around the world, or Local House – where you’ll only have access to one Soho House, usually where you live.
If you’re going for the Local House membership, you’ll need to make sure there’s a location close enough to make it worth it.
If you’re choosing Every House, it’s worth noting that there’s a big cost difference between the two so you’ll need to consider how often you expect to visit the other houses.
Why get a Soho House membership?
There’s lots of reasons for joining Soho House. You might want to be part of a buzzy community, have access to world class gyms, enjoy drinks on beautiful rooftops, or immerse yourself in a calendar of events.
For me, what sets Soho House apart from other members clubs, is the focus on nurturing a community of creatives. There’s a much more laid back feel here compared to other private members clubs.
In fact, they actively encourage a casual dress code, where other clubs enforce strict requirements for what you can wear.
Being part of a members club is also a great way to network, make new friends, or grow a business.
Is it hard to get into Soho House?
It’s not difficult to get into Soho House providing you work in the creative industry and can demonstrate authentically why you want to join. They look for people who can bring something to the community and value interesting hobbies and passions.

How long is the Soho House waiting list?
The Soho House waiting list is around 3 months, according to their website, which states that the meeting committee meets quarterly. My application was approved much within weeks though, so I think it depends on the location you’re applying for. London, for example, is one of the most popular.
