This town looks just like Santorini, but it’s not in Greece…

This small town on the European island of Menorca could easily be mistaken for Greece…

This is Binibeca Vell, a small fisherman’s village made up of only a handful of houses. With its narrow, winding streets and bright white buildings, it almost feels reminicisent of Greek towns like Oia in Santorini and Naoussa in Paros.

But it’s not Greece. It’s located on the southern coast of Menorca. Here, there’s far fewer crowds, so if you arrive early, you’ll only be amongst a handful of other tourists (you can only dream of that happening in Santorini!).

Good to know:

  • There’s free parking in the town. Put ‘Parking Binibeca’ into your maps
  • You’ll find the entrance to the fisherman’s village opposite the Spar supermarket
