The unique bar in Menorca that’s built into the cliffside

This is undoubtedly the coolest bar in Menorca, and maybe even the whole of Europe…

This bar has been on my bucket list for the longest time after seeing a picture of it pop up on my Pinterest years ago.

And I’m starting October spending a few days on the beautiful Balearic island of Menorca, which meant I finally made it to this incredible place.

Cova d’en Xoroi is a beautiful bar built into the side of the cliff. It’s not visible from the road, but as you pass through the entrance and round the corner you’re greeted with the most incredible sight.

The bar literally protrudes from the cliff, it almost doesn’t look possible for it to be structurally sound.

There’s multiple levels to the bar, including a seating area inside the cave itself, and if you head there for sunset, they have live performances and DJs playing.

The details:

  • Open daily from 3pm-dusk
  • Day ticket (3pm-4:30pm) = €12.90 per adult and €6.00 per child
  • Sunset session (5pm – close) = €25.00 (adults only)
