Soho Farmhouse has become increasingly popular thanks to its idyllic location offering the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax.
But that means it can be difficult to find availability in the bedrooms, especially if you’re visiting last minute.
Not to worry, there’s plenty of brilliant hotels near the farm that means you can still stay nearby, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful Cotswolds villages as part of your trip.
The Cotswolds is home to some of my favourite hotels in the country, and I’ve visited plenty of them. So by the end of this post, you’ll know all the best hotels near Soho Farmhouse, and hopefully you’ll find the perfect one for you!

Don’t fancy a long journey after a day at the farm? I don’t blame you. These hotels are just down the road from Soho Farmhouse.
The Stables, Chipping Norton
The Stables a 9-minute drive from Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton. It sleeps 4 people so it’s perfect for a group, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and outside there’s even a hot tub! The inside is basic but has everything you need, with the added bonus of a kitchen if you fancy cooking. If not, there’s several pubs in Chipping Norton so you’ll have plenty of choice.
The Falkland Arms
Just an 8-minute drive from Farmhouse, The Falkland Arms is a cosy 16th-century pub in the idyllic village of Great Tew. There’s 5 beautiful bedrooms and the pub downstairs services hearty food and award-winning ales.

Alysas Cottage
Also in Chipping Norton, Alysas Cottage is a 17-minute drive from Soho Farmhouse.
This home is perfect for larger groups with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. The interiors feel really cosy and there’s a generous outside space.
Priory Cottage
Priory Cottage is in Charlbury, where you’ll most likely arrive on the train. There’s 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a large patio and garden. Inside, it’s finished to a really high standard – it’s the perfect choice if you want to stay near Soho Farmhouse.
Upper Barn
Upper Barn has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, plus a great outside area. It sleeps 6 people so there’s plenty of space if you’re visiting with friends, and there’s lots to keep you occupied in Chipping Norton.

The Cotswolds is full of country pubs serving excellent food, with beautiful rooms above. They’re some of my favourite places to stay in the area, and the perfect choice if you’re visiting Soho Farmhouse.
The Kingham Plough
Located in Kingham, only a short walk from The Wild Rabbit, the Kingham Plough offers beautiful bedrooms, some with freestanding baths, and a cosy restaurant downstairs. It’s a 25-minute drive to Soho Farmhouse.
The Swan Inn
Also a 25-minute drive from Soho Farmhouse, The Swan Inn is from the Country Creatures group, who also own one of my favourite hotels in The Cotswolds, Double Red Duke.
Expect beautiful interiors and excellent food, all at a really reasonable price.
Double Red Duke
The sister hotel to The Swan, Double Red Duke is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. A former grain store, it’s been lovingly restored throughout, with 19 beautifully-decorated bedrooms, many with freestanding baths. A
lthough it’s slightly further away from Soho Farmhouse than some of the other hotels, it’s worth the drive for the exceptional food and the proximity to lots of amazing villages in The Cotswolds.
If you don’t have a car, there’s a lovely walk to neighbouring Bampton, where parts of Downton Abbey were filmed. Or, cancel all plans and book yourself in for a massage in the garden spa shed.
Artist Residence
Slightly further afield, Artist Residence is a 35 minute drive from Soho Farmhouse, but it’s worth the slightly longer journey to stay here. The Artist Residence hotels are amongst my go-to hotel brands and their Oxfordshire location is definitely my favourite.
A traditional pub with rooms, grab a board game and curl up by the fireplace, before retiring to one of the 8 bedrooms above. If you’re looking for something a bit different, there’s even a shepherd’s hut at the bottom of the garden.
The Lamb Inn
30-minutes from Soho Farmhouse, The Lamb Inn is just down the road from The Swan Inn. It’s run by Peter Creed & Tom Noest, who also own The Bell Inn Langford, one of my favourite pubs in The Cotswolds.
So as well as beautiful bedrooms, you can expect excellent food here. In 2019, Peter & Tom actually took up residency at Soho Farmhouse, with Little Bell.

The best hotels near Soho Farmhouse – with a spa
If you’re looking for a more relaxing stay, there’s nothing better than checking into a hotel with a spa.
Minster Mill
We stayed at Minster Mill when it first opened in 2020 and it’s the perfect place to relax. In the sleepy village of Minster Lovell, the location is idyllic, with just a few country pubs nearby.
Make sure you get a room with a private patio overlooking the stream. We had the best evening sat outside with the fire on looking up at the stars. There’s the added bonus of the Garden spa, with a pool, sauna and treatment options.

Where is Soho Farmhouse?
Soho Farmhouse is located amongst 100 acres of countryside in between The Cotswolds villages of Great Tew and Chipping Norton. It’s a 2 hour drive from London and the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
How do you get to Soho Farmhouse?
The easiest way to get to Soho Farmhouse is by car. It’s a 2 hour drive from London and parking is free. If you don’t drive, you can get the train from London Paddington to Charlbury in just over an hour.
Staying at Soho Farmhouse
If you can find availability at Soho Farmhouse, there’s 13 different room types to choose from. All of them are stunning, from the cosy Piglets perfect for 2, to The Farmhouse that sleeps larger groups. Which room you choose will depend on the size of your group and your budget.
Aside from availability, Soho Farmhouse is also an expensive place to stay, especially if you’re visiting on the weekend. So staying in a hotel nearby is a great option if you want to stay at Farmhouse until late.
There’s often events in the Main Barn, and on the weekends there’s a DJ in the Mill Room, so you won’t want to be rushing off to catch the last train.
